Seeking Guidance on Steps to Obtain P.Eng License in Ontario as an International Graduate

Hello Everyone,

I am currently working as a Mechanical Engineer in an automotive company in Ontario. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering outside Canada. I have about 6 years of work experience in India and 2.5 years of Canadian work experience. I also have previous managers who hold a P.Eng license and can provide reference letters.

I am interested in obtaining my P.Eng license to advance my career. I understand that the process may take several years, but I want to start it as soon as possible.

Could someone please provide a step-by-step guide on how to apply for and complete the P.Eng certification process in Ontario? Any advice, resources, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
