$ALP Just Landed a $32.2M AI Deal — 504 $NVIDIA B200 GPUs Locked In
$ALP just locked in a huge 2-year deal worth $32.2M, bringing in $16.1M in yearly recurring revenue. They’re also getting $7.5M upfront just to reserve the compute capacity for the full two years.
This deal includes a dedicated setup of 504 NVIDIA B200 GPUs, which are some of the most powerful GPUs available right now for AI training and inference. Basically, this gives a major frontier AI lab exclusive access to serious high-performance compute power for building next-gen AI models.
The customer hasn’t been named yet, but it’s described as a well-known leader in advanced AI research, which makes this even more interesting.
To me, this looks like a major validation for Alpha Compute’s business model. Landing a contract this size shows strong demand for specialized AI infrastructure, and it proves they’re becoming a serious player in the AI data center space, especially in Canada.
CEO Brittany Kaiser even called it a “defining moment” for the company, saying it shows both trust from enterprise clients and the growing demand for sovereign AI infrastructure.
