Advice for quitting after 2 months?
Looking for some advice/guidance here. I took an OP peds job to see a couple of kids after my full time hospital job. I’m the only OT at the clinic. It was initially said to be like 8-10 kids with 30 min sessions I was going to do a couple times a week. It's been two months and so far it’s two kids on different days of the week. So I’m driving there to see kids on separate days and only making like 20 bucks for the 30 min session. Is it a bad look if I say the job just isn’t working for my schedule anymore? The owners sweet but it’s just not a great use of my time or money. Like my hospital is letting me stay late now for extra hours and when I factor in speaking with parents, planning, notes (all of which I don’t get paid for) it’s more cost efficient for me to not. I feel really bad quitting as I’m W2 and I’m not sure what cost the owner had to onboard me since it’s a small business. Does anybody have advice? Should I give it more time? I make ~38% of what they charge for reference.
