I broke my wrist pretty badly, how long until you think I can use a mouse again? Good 1 handed games?

Discussion

Hi there Reddit, I need some help, kind of losing my mind of boredom. Around the end of April I took a pretty bad fall and destroyed my wrist, even slightly down my arm apparently. The doctor used the colourful description "bone soup." For the first week i pretty much slept and took painkillers, but now im kind of just sitting here with nothing to do.

I had my surgery to have a plate put in about 2 weeks ago, and ive been in a splint(cast maybe?) since. My wrist doesnt hurt all the time, really only sometimes now. My finger tips can still click, the problem is mainly moving the mouse. My post op is tomorrow but doctors never really give good "gaming" time lines, as the last person said i should be fine to do it if io just do it like 1 hour a day, the very day it was set. (like 2.5 weeks ago.)

I've been stuck playing 1 handed games with my non dominant hand. Vampire Survivors, Heroes, and BG3. These are great games ofc, but a struggle to play only clicking with my left hand. Also as a high energy adhd person, when my friends log off of bg3, im alone and insanely bored.

I don't have much to do where I live besides game with my fiance, and watch youtube. But adhd, after an hour of YT i lose my mind.

Before i broke my hand i was waiting on the new PoE2 season, I was loving Crimson Desert, grinding LoL, and I was working on a WoW video series.

Games I've tried: Vampire Survivors, bg3(playing MP), HoMM: OE, Civ V, Dos2, and I finally purchased Slay the Spire 1 & 2(not my thing, rip $60)

Vampire, Civ, and Heroes all get kind of stale after a few matches alone.

How long until you think i can control a mouse in my cast? mayybe by poe2 next season?

Any good games out there I can play 1 handed? I'm thinking about picking up chess and Hearthstone. Infinite budget, Steam or Battle.net preferred
