Subnautica 2 Steam and Gamepass Compatibility?

I'm not sure if this has been answered yet, and I haven't been able to find one. I've got multiple people in my house and we plan to play this together, but we have a mix of devices. If I buy this on Steam and then buy it on Gamepass for my wife, will we be able to play together? I'm thinking we will, but I have seen games with compatability issues in the past. Does anyone know if we've got an answer on this?
