I am struggling to believe

Hi Everyone 👋. I decided to invest more in my spirituality when I started college, I've read Mark and Colossians so far, and I'm reading about the covenants right now. Unfortunately for me I have never been able to believe in the bible. All my life I have never had a spiritual experience or seen anything supernatural, I used to pray a lot when I was a kid but looking back I probably did that cause I saw my parents do it and I would use it to feel better about myself when I did something wrong by asking God for forgiveness.

I have come to realize how big of a roll Jesus plays in Christianity now that I've been reading and researching, I didn't know this cause my parents are Jehovah's Witnesses, in that denomination it's mostly about a group of the most powerful men in their religion called the Governing Body, and I found out how unbiblical so much of their believes are so I got disappointed of that group a long time ago.

How did you come to believe in the stories like Lot's wife who looked back and turned into salt, the resurrection, the donkey speaking, the virgin birth, and all the other miracles. Also how can I come to naturally ask questions like what is this life all about and all those questions about purpose and meaning. Any kind of advice will be greatly appreciated
