My life might be over for showing concern

I was online on reddit where I came across a post where a guy was leaking a girl's details like her name and pictures and was asking people to do NSFW stuff with it. This obviously was very wrong so I, being the stupid person I am, thought I should tell her that this wrong stuff is happening with her.

I cantacted her through my anonymous insta account and told her about whatever I saw and have her the guy's details to file a complaint against him. She said she will file it, but she said that she will involve and drag me in the case complaint as well.

Although I didn't give her any of my personal details, I got scared and I delete all our chats and deleted my account altogether. I don't know what might happen but for context I'm a foreign citizen living here so any kind of police record, especially to this grave of a crime might destroy my life. I'm scared af of what might happen. Anyone please tell me what can happen and what steps should I take.

Even though I did the right thing, I feel so stupid because it might bite me back, please someone help me.
