People spent 8-18 minutes talking to our unfinished AI mirror and I still don’t fully understand why

Advice Needed: Productivity

We started building an AI that does something slightly uncomfortable.

Most AI tools try to comfort, advise, motivate, or entertain you.

This one tries to narrow the conversation until you recognize the behavioral pattern underneath your own words.

Not therapy.

Not coaching.

More like a reflective mirror.

What surprised us:

even in rough beta with unfinished UX, random testers were staying 8-18 minutes in sessions and describing the experience as:

“uncomfortably accurate”

“like a mirror”

“not advice, recognition”

I honestly think there’s something interesting here around AI + behavioral reflection.

Curious if anyone else feels current AI products are too optimized for comfort and not enough for clarity.

If you want to try dm..
