do you think it’s possible for someone to self teach tertiary level physics/chem from the fundamentals?

i’m currently doing a bachelor of nursing and am almost finished my degree, but there are so many things i want to learn on the side (my uni doesn’t allow me to take elective subjects with this course). i loved chem and bio in high school but after 3~ish years of no exposure to it i seemed to have completely forgotten it all and it makes me sad. i want to start self teaching to retain as much knowledge as possible and keep my brain functioning and healthy. any tips or encouragement would be appreciated. thank u :)
