London to Dover Day trip

Hi all, headed to London for our 5th time (first coming from the US, we lived in Germany for 11 years) - leaning heavy towards a day trip to Dover Castle / Cliffs. Staying at Royal Lancaster. I have google mapped the route, with underground/buses, just checking if there is a quicker/direct way I may be missing? Has me right at 2 hours.
