Telling LO MRI Results

My mom’s MRI results are expected today. This is her first scan since her memory has expeditiously declined. I’m wondering how you all helped your LO learn their results. Did you read them first? Did you wait for their doctor to explain them? My mom is worried that she “failed” her MRI. I don’t want to cause undue harm.
