Lost and found question

Hi, first time posting in here.

There’s a possibility I left something in a lyft ride last weekend about 30-45 from home. I unfortunately don’t get paid till Friday and don’t have off till Sunday if the driver did have the item. Is there a way to possibly coordinate a meeting date/time if driver had said item or is it once communication is done they have to drop it off immediately?
