is smu’s bbm environment as scary as it seems?

hi, i’m an incoming smu bbm undergrad and i am quite concerned about smu’s environment. everyone talks about the high class part, cutthroat and competitive environment but is it really that bad irl? its a genuine concern i have as im just an average student in poly with average grades and i dont really participate in class or like eagerly raise my hands every lesson or smth. i just answer qns when appointed and do pretty well in my presentations too as im comfortable with presentations and speaking in general. but i’m just really concerned whether i will die in smu’s competitive culture? 😭 like everyone says its really bad and im scared…

do average students that don’t really class part or are introverts do well in smu? and what’s the average gpa for bbm students?
