Petals for Armor lore, etc.

Hi guys!!! I would classify myself as a new Hayley fan (I’ve been listening to Paramore for years, but really got into Hayley last year with the release of EDAABP) and I really want to do a deep dive of all her solo music before I see her in ATL this September!!!

I’ve been listening to Petals for Armor and Flowers for Vases for a few weeks now. REALLY enjoying Petals for Armor especially, and I just have so many questions!

Could anyone tell me about any of the background info for these albums? Like why they are both floral themed titles? Or even what you think about them, like I’m surprised that Flowers for Vases seems to have a more melancholy/quiet vibe than the other two albums. Or just background info on what was going on Hayley’s life, I’m just really interested!

Lots of thoughts! As of now my favorite songs that are new to me are Simmer, Cinnamon, Sudden Desire, Pure Love, First Thing To Go and My Limb.
