I built an interactive map of every officially designated Chicago Landmark

Made a little side project I've been wanting to for a while, and decided to share it with others who may be curious: an interactive map of all 407 officially designated Chicago Landmarks, pulling live data from the City's open data portal.

A few things it does:

- Filter by Community Area or search by name, address, or architect

- Click any landmark to see photos, a description, designation date, and a link to the official City page

- Filter by the decade it was landmarked

- "Near me" button that sorts the list by walking distance

- Dark mode
