Has anyone successfully found suppliers on Made-in-China.com?

I’ve been talking to some small business owners lately, and the range of approaches is honestly

wild. Some are 100% relying on Alibaba reviews and hoping for the best, and some have agents

on the ground doing factory visits before they commit to anything.

The common theme is how difficult it is to know who you can really trust before you have

already ordered. You may have thousands of suppliers on platforms like Made-in-China.com,

but the volume doesn’t solve the trust problem; it makes it harder to filter.

What was your first order with a foreign supplier? What are some red flags you have seen in a

supplier that seemed legit and then fell apart? Are you using agents, sourcing companies, or

going direct?

Just real experiences; not looking for the perfect answer here. What worked, what didn’t work,

and what you’d tell someone starting out.
