Feedback on MK Day in July

I wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on which day to go to MK during our trip in July. Our family (myself, wife, and 3kids: 8,6,4) arrive on a Saturday and are staying until Thursday morning. This is our first time going.

We are staying at AoA and plan to go to the parks 3 days and have one rest day. We do have park hopper tickets and plan to do Lightning Lane MP on at least the MK day and potentially other days.

I had originally planned to do non MK parks on Sunday which would be our first park day and then do MK on Monday all day with Tuesday being our sleep in and rest day and then closing out Wednesday with another park day. However I am seeing that Mondays are considered a more crowded day.

Would the plan to still go to MK with LL on Mondays with our planned rest day still make sense given the crowds or should we consider going to MK on Sunday even without a potential rest day the next day?
