Best resources for complete beginner to learn the ropes of Blitz

Hey All,

First post in here, been lurking for a bit. I've been playing WoW for a few years but haven't dabbled in PvP and I'm looking to dive in. What are the best sites/streamers/discords/resources for getting prepared for blitz so that I know what I'm doing? I've seen people say to go watch streamers or read up but I generally don't see specifics. Maybe I'm just missing them?

I saw people mention bricking characters/MMR and I'd really like to avoid that. I'm a dad with not a whole lot of time so starting over again would be pretty tough. So I'm trying to put my best foot forward and do my homework. I'm playing Ret Pally, I've farmed war crates and capped on conquest, So I'm geared and ready. I just feel a bit

paralyzed about jumping into blitz, especially after reading about the whole bricking characters and getting stuck thing.

My goal is to reach 1950-2000 rating.
