Three years. Still no compassionate grounds appointment.
Families are told “wait”, “file under process”, “come next month”, “approval pending” — while the people who actually deserve the job are left struggling financially and mentally.
Compassionate grounds appointment was created to help families immediately after losing a government employee. But what is the purpose if applicants are forced to wait for years?
Another painful issue is qualification mismatch. Many MBA, BSc, BE and other degree holders are reportedly being pushed into very basic OA/attender-level postings instead of being considered properly based on qualification and available vacancies. At the same time, universities and government offices themselves are already understaffed.
People keep hearing stories about files moving only through influence, recommendations, or money demands even for basic positions. Whether fully true or not, the lack of transparency is creating anger and distrust among deserving candidates.
Government Orders and even court-related struggles have reportedly happened after years of effort by affected families and applicants, yet many people still feel there has been very little visible improvement in the actual speed and transparency of appointments.
When orders are passed after long legal battles but implementation still moves slowly, ordinary people naturally begin losing trust in the system itself.
Why are compassionate grounds appointments still pending when departments clearly need staff?
Why are qualified candidates left waiting while offices continue operating with shortages?
Will future leadership like actually take action against delays, corruption, and negligence in secretary offices — or will this issue continue to be ignored by every government?
- This is not about charity.
- This is not about politics alone.
- This is about families waiting for dignity, stability, and fairness after losing someone.
How many others here are still waiting for compassionate grounds appointment approval?
