Mio.2 Beginner Tutorial #MioAgent2

Step 1: Understand the Two Modes

Before generating anything, Mio.2 gives you two different ways to work: Ideation Mode Use this when you only have a rough idea and don’t know exactly how to describe it yet. You can simply chat naturally with Mio.2 and explain the vibe, concept, or mood you want. Mio.2 will ask questions, suggest ideas, and help refine the concept before generating images.

Examples: • “I want a lonely cyberpunk girl walking in the rain.” • “Something soft and dreamy with pastel colors.” • “Can you help me design a fantasy prince?”

This mode is perfect for brainstorming. Default Mode Once you know what you want, switch to Default Mode. This is the actual image generation mode, where you can create multiple versions, compare results, and refine details. If you’re unsure where to start, begin with Ideation Mode first.

───

Step 2: Start Your First Conversation Click “New Conversation” and type naturally. You do NOT need complicated prompts.

Simple examples: • “Draw a silver-haired girl with cat ears in a cozy café.” • “Dark fantasy female warrior with glowing blue eyes.” • “Create an elegant original character for me.” Mio.2 will either generate immediately or ask follow-up questions depending on how much detail you provided.

───

Step 3: Refine Using Follow-Up Messages This is where Mio.2 becomes extremely beginner-friendly. Instead of rewriting everything, simply tell it what to change: • “Make her hair longer. • “Change the background to a rainy street at night.” • “Her expression looks too serious.” • “Can you make a chibi version?” Mio.2 remembers the character and context during the conversation, so edits feel consistent instead of restarting every time.

───

Step 4: Understanding Gems Mio.2 uses Gems as its image generation currency. Important things to know: • Chatting is free. • Gems are only used when generating images. • New users start with free Gems after verification. • More Gems can be obtained through subscriptions or Gem packs. • Gems do not expire. This makes experimenting much less stressful for beginners. ───

Step 5: Learn the Interface Some useful interface features: Chat View / Image View You can switch between the conversation and the generated image gallery for that session. Left Sidebar Each conversation acts as its own separate project. Keeping characters and ideas in separate chats helps Mio.2 stay more consistent.

My Artwork Your full image history from every session. Mini Player Lets you keep Mio.2 open while browsing other pages. Share Conversation You can share an entire session with someone else, and they can continue generating from your exact progress.

───

Beginner Tips • Don’t overthink your first prompt. Mio.2 works surprisingly well with incomplete ideas. • One conversation = one project. This helps maintain consistency for characters and settings. • Describe mood, not only appearance. Instead of: “Blue-haired girl” Try: “Blue-haired girl who looks emotionally exhausted after studying all night.” Emotional context usually creates much stronger results. • Use Ideation Mode when your feel stuck. Even experienced artists use it for brainstorming.

───

Example Interaction User: “I want a Lo-Fi channel cover: girl wearing headphones sleeping on her desk.” Mio.2 response: “Here are three different Lo-Fi cover variations~

  1. Sunset rain atmosphere with warm orange-purple lighting through a rainy window.
  2. Night city lights with a sleepy cat beside her.
  3. Midnight study session with moonlight, plants, and an old monitor glow.” This is one of Mio.2’s strongest features: it expands simple ideas into multiple creative directions automatically.
