Pre wired 60 amp for EV

Hey guys,

I just purchased a Wolfbox level 2 EV charger for my home. My garage has a pre cabled spot for the charger. My question is, the charger has red, black, green.

The pre cabled box in the wall has red, black, white.

I assume black to black, red to red, but does green need to go into a grounding wire? And if so does the pre cabled white chord just sit in there taped and capped? Or in some world does the green go into the white cable?
