The hate for accommodations is misplaced

So at my law school this second semester several people have went and gotten accommodations, idk but I’m assuming because they didnt get the grades they wanted the semester before.
BUT this is the thing, accommodations are literally just extra time. It’s the same test. So if you don’t know the material it doesn’t matter how many extra minutes you get, the information will not magically appear in your mind.
Like there have been exams that it didn’t matter if I had more time or not, I didn’t know anything else to write or say.
So honestly the person who gets a great grade with accommodations, they knew the material and would have done well probably without them.
Accommodations doesn’t let them have their book or notes or anything. So it’s not this big huge advantage everyone is acting like it is.
So honestly the people who got accommodations and are relying on them to do well instead of using that time to study, they’re helping with the curve. Let them have the accommodations.
