Do you leave your dog at home while you’re at work?

What’s your usual routine to keep your dogs independent and disciplined? Do you have specific routines before leaving the house or once you get home?

My mom’s leaving for a month, so it’ll just be me and my dog. The thing is, I work onsite from 8–5, so I don’t really have a choice but to leave him at home during the day.

Any tips on how to keep them calm, comfortable, and well-behaved while adjusting to this setup?
