Cheaper way to get the CPA?

I'm a comp sci graduate and want to get my CPA, the prep courses in CPA ontario are really expensive, is there a cheaper option to get the courses in any other places? or just self study and take the exams to prove I'm qualified for the CPA? Thank you!
