Beware - Don't make the same $10K mistake we did
Today I learned that I made a horrible mistake. We leased the car above and in my mind I thought it was either 24 months or 20,000 miles whichever come first. Because we hit 20K miles early, I returned the car ahead of the two years. I was just told that the lease has to run the full two years regardless of mileage and I am on the hook for the difference of sale and my balance above. In other words, we are fuc*&d. Not sure who needs to read this, but if I can help one person not to make the same mistake, I will be happy. Ah and the dealer DIDN'T SAY A WORD ABOUT THIS.
