Anyone using mini photo printers regularly or do they collect dust?

I have a hiking trip planned for  next month and I am looking for the best way to create memories. I recently came across an advert for a mini photo printer online and it fascinated me. The idea of printing my smart phone photos easily while at home seems pretty interesting to me.

I am thinking of purchasing the printer in time for the trip to enable me print photos straight from my smartphone.

The problem is apart from the team hiking trip I am neither an outing person nor am I a photophile. This concerns me as I am worried it will be a one time use gadget and  goes back to collecting dust.

What are some of the tips to avoid this keeping in mind that regular use is off the table.

It is pretty affordable if the prices on online vendors such as Alibaba is anything to go by. I am not however sure which ones are reliable as there are numerous brands on display.

Interestingly, I have seen a lot of people struggle with regular use of Mini photo printers as well. Seems a lot of people are becoming allergic to creating memories. Lol.
