Community for a Young Adult

Hi! Let me know if there's a thread that already covers this information (I'm not that familiar with reddit), but I thought I would try to gather some suggestions here! For context, I'm a recently graduated college student and will be moving to the state (to join some family who recently moved over). My family is located mostly in the Ballard area, but I'm not sure where I'll end up long-term, so I'd like to hear about Ballard and non-Ballard places, if possible.

Basically, I'm just looking for recommendations for community or activity outside of work! I struggled to not feel lonely in college in part because I had trouble finding routine activities, like volunteering, out-of-school classes, or events. I tend to become a workaholic if I don't have consistent things (as in, consistently weekly or monthly) to do, and I really like to meet new people, especially for small talk. Even parks, libraries, or cafes that have a good atmosphere would be appreciated as recommendations! I'm just feeling nervous! TIA!
