Temperature Problem on Ryzen 9 5900XT
I recently bought a new processor to upgrade my PC: the Ryzen 9 5900XT. I have already built it and have been monitoring the temperatures. The problem is that at idel the CPU sits at 65.6°C, the voltage is 1.427V and the CPU Power is 63.66W, all on average. I don't think that that are normal temperatures, at least at idle I think it would be 45°C on average.
I am using a Deepcool Assassin IV as the CPU Cooler, and my motherboard is an MSI B550M Mortar wifi.
The CPU Cooler was making a lot of noise at first trying to keep the CPU cool, so I tried to tweaking the BIOS configuration for the CPU and the system Fans. This is the configuration I used to lower the temperatures and noise:
- Global C-state Control → Enabled
- CPPC AND CPPC Preferred Cores → Enabled
- Power Supply Idle Control → Low Current Idle
- PBO → Advanced
- Curve Optimizer → All Cores
- All Core Curve Optimizer Sign → Negative
- All Core Curve Optimizer Magnitude → 20
CPU FAN Configuration:
- CPU Fan1 step up time → 0.7s
- 40°C → 30%
- 60°C → 45%
- 75°C → 70%
- 85°C → 100%
System Fans:
- 40°C → 30% (It doesn't elevate more than 35 degrees)
The Power Plan on WIndows is at Balanced
Could someone help me?
Image is in spanish, sorry for that.
