[RP] [M4F] A Pokémon Adventure

This might be a bit of an odd roleplay ad, but let me get through it. I grew up with Pokémon and the earlier games. What I'm essentially asking is if there is anyone interested in playing out an RP adventure where the two of us go out to live out the typical Pokémon journey. Here is what I'm envisioning - our characters would be adults who only now decide to actually go out and try the gym challenge. Late starters compared to how young some other trainers are when they start, but we both thought it would be fun to do it together. From here, I'm imagining...I guess you can call it a mature version of the normal Pokémon story. Fleshing out the danger and intrigue that usually is a part of every adventure, elevating it a bit since we would be playing older characters. As for the setting, I'm open to anything from Gen 1 through Gen 4.

A bit about myself - I have over a decade of roleplaying experience. Although this would admittedly be the first one I'm doing of this kind. My writing style is first person perspective with my average reply being 1 to 2 paragraphs. For something like this, there would obviously be a significant adventure and action element to it. I think it would be fun to have our characters develop a romance along the journey as well (again, our OCs would be adults, in case that wasn't clear before). But all of this is open to discussion.
