SSQA not fitting right on new tractor

Just got my first tractor delivered last week. It's a 25HP compact. Most everything is going fine, engine runs well, etc. Problem is the SSQA pin on the left side of the bucket is not engaging fully. When they delivered it the guy was reefing on it trying to get it to seat but he could not. The pins seat easily into the set of forks I purchased from them as well.

After trying to force it to go in for a few minutes, he gave up on it, leaving it partially engaged. He told me to use it for a while and the paint and metal would wear in and it would fit eventually. I have tried forcing it in as well by hand, and by gently pushing on it using loader functions, but I am not willing to bounce the weight of the tractor or get crazy on it, for fear of being the loader pistons, etc, and I do not want it coming loose or breaking my SSQA pin. And even if I do get it to go in, then I fear I won't be able to get it back out very easily. From what I can see, the problem is that the mating surfaces are not touching, so the pin is sitting too far back toward the tractor relative to the bucket.

My question is: Should I just get them to replace the bucket? Or is it really just a situation where it will get worn in and seat itself?

Thanks in advance.
