Cold Email Ideas

Hey everyone,

I’m currently running a cold email campaign for my web agency and mainly targeting local businesses, but honestly I’ve been struggling with getting replies and finding really solid leads consistently.

Right now I’m only using Clay for lead sourcing. It works great for B2B-style leads, but I’m still trying to figure out how effective it really is for local businesses like accountants, dentists, roofers, med spas, etc. I feel like finding good local business data is honestly harder than writing the emails themselves at this point lol.

I’d love to hear from people who are already doing outreach successfully in this space. Which local business niches are actually responding to cold emails these days? Are there certain industries that respond noticeably better than others? Also, how are you guys finding and qualifying your leads inside Clay?

Would genuinely appreciate any advice or insight because I’m still trying to figure out the best direction to go with this.
