Just a thank you to the devs!
I don't know what you're doing but keep doing it.
KDE Plasma 6.6 has been the most stable experience I've had with Plasma in general.
Plus, it seems there's a genuine push to streamline everything a bit. From the login manager to the new upcoming theme engine improvements and kwin is generally really good with no huge bugs. Plasma 6.7 is supposed to introduce changing virtual desktops in the overview with the scroll wheel from what I read, and that's another massive usability win, and the settings menus seem less cluttered.
I've been in gnome for a long time, it's always been more stable and the workflow is what I like. I've only ever "ventured" into Plasma now and then when distro hopping to see what's new, used it for a bit hoping to stay until inevitably, usually within days, some major bug, or tons of minor annoyances made me switch back to gnome.
But lately, gnome is actually a bad experience for me, not the kind of stability I expect from it. Fractional scaling looks really blurry, games see the resolution as above my native and look blurry when running in native if scaling is applied, and the mouse cursor keeps escaping the main monitor when gaming. Generally not that great... At least for my uses.
I've had Plasma on CachyOS for a few months, and it was a smooth experience. Then I waited for gnome 50, switched to Fedora 44, and after a few days, i went back to Plasma.
I'm always highly critical of KDE cause I've always felt they came so close to greatness and always somehow managed to mess it up.
This time though, you're nailing it!
Keep it up!
And thank you for work!
I'll be donating when I can soon.
