Night sweats?

I’ve just turned 40 and for a couple months I’ve been experiencing night sweats regardless of the temperature. Completely soaking myself I even have a sweat towel 😅. Now today I got my period a week early and my cycle is usually 35+days apart. Is the perimenopause? Is there anything I can do?
