CSE spec doubt for higher studies and other stuff

So if you take cse spec and you wish to do higher studies, do universities treat your degree as a standard B.Tech / B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering? Can you freely apply for a general MS in CS to pivot back to traditional software engineering or systems architecture if you wish?

Are there any limitations of taking spec for core?
