BUDGETING APP
Does anyone else feel like most finance/budgeting apps are completely useless for college students?
Not talking about investing or mutual funds or “save 20% of your income” advice.
I mean actual student problems:
- randomly running out of money before month-end
- overspending on food delivery
- internship stipend disappearing instantly
- saying yes to plans because of FOMO
- not knowing if you can actually afford something
Most apps feel designed for salaried adults with stable income, not students surviving on limited money.
I honestly feel like students need something simpler where you could just ask:
- “Can I afford this?”
- “How much can I spend daily?”
- “Why does my money disappear so fast?”
- “Will I survive the month?”
instead of manually tracking every ₹50 expense like an accountant.
Curious if other people struggle with this too or if it’s just me.
