Return issue
Hey guys. I purchased a rose gold s26u and the buds4 pro two weeks back. After having the phone for three days, I decided I didn't like the color and returned it as well as the buds (unopened) and bought the cobalt blue version. They received the return the next day. I was sent an email claiming the buds were missing and they also included a video. The video was only viewable on my iPhone for some reason and it clearly showed the phone and the buds in the box. The employee took the buds out of the shipping box, looked at the seals and tapped the box hard on the counter. She set the phone to show a barcode and then lined everything up with the serial numbers/imei's visible.
I contacted Samsung and they opened a case. After waiting two days with no update, I emailed them and received no response, so I used the chat and was told there was no update yet. I emailed again the next day and received a message from the department that issues refunds and was told to wait two to three more business days. After two days I called and was told to continue waiting three days as the email said. Today is the third business day and there is still no update. I'm not understanding why they are not refunding me the full amount when they can see in the video the items were returned? They say they are waiting to hear back from the people who handle the returned products. That shouldn't take a week+?
They shorted me $241 on the refund so far even though the buds were $91. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I being unreasonable given it has only been a week? Should I keep waiting or just initiate a chargeback?
