Can't decide between 27" 1440p or 32" 4K OLED

Discussion

Hi there,
so far I've been using two 27" 1440p IPS monitors (145 Hz), with ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q being my main monitor. I've been using a LG OLED TV (C18LA) for years for watching movies and some gaming on the ps5, so I already love OLED and know how great they are.

I'd like to make the upgrade to OLED now for my pc as well but can't decide between 1440p 27" or 4K 32" and was hoping I could get some help from this community.

My use case is mostly gaming with some office work like writing emails, microsoft word / excel etc. I think it's probably 2/3 gaming and 1/3 office work.

For gaming I like to play ARPG's like Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 1 & 2 and single player story games like Oblivion remastered, KCD 1 / 2 or Resident Evil. I don't play any competitive shooters, so I dont need a very high refresh rate. Anything over 240hz is overkill for my use case.

I got a RTX 4080 as GPU and an undervolted i7 13700k as cpu with 32gb of ram.
Performance on 1440p has been fine so far, though I worry that my pc won't be powerful enough to run games at 4K. I know about DLSS and that it helps a lot to run games at higher fps. Still I'm unsure if going for 4K and 32" is the right step in general.

For specific 27" 1440p oled monitors I'd go for the new 4th gen tandem WOLED: either the ASUS XG27AQWMG or the Gigabyte MO27Q28GR. I can control the lighting in the room, so I figured glossy will be better for me. Have been using a glossy oled tv for years now. I know about the grey banding issues and would hope to not get a bad one.

For 32" 4K i'm unsure since i'd prefer to go with WOLED over QD-OLED and there are no 4th gen tandem displays yet. I also don't like the stand of the PG32UCDM and would prefer a flat base like the XG27AQWMG has.

Another question: will it be weird to have a 4K 32" as main monitor and a 27" 1440p next to it as 2nd monitor? I mostly use the 2nd monitor for having a browser open while playing ARPGs or for office work, not for single player games.

So what do you guys think, should I go for a 4th gen 27" 1440p woled or for a 32" 4k 3rd gen oled monitor? And if you'd recommend me to go for 4k 32", can you recommend a specific monitor? I wasn't able to find a 32" 4K WOLED option with a flat base that I like.

I'd like to buy a new monitor this month and budget is around 500-1000€.
Thanks in advance for any help!
