What adhesive will hold a mirror back on to a partially rusted car?

Just curious what will best hold the plastic mirror housing to the metal/fiberglass/rust whatever it is frame of the car where the hole for the mirror is suppose to go? I’ve previously used what was on hand (some PL and gorilla tape 😂) it held for a while until someone knocked it off again. Is there like a JB weld or crazy glue or something that will hold this stupid thing on so it won’t fall off?? Cars not worth putting much into but I need a mirror that isn’t hanging off the car. Thanks!
