Need some input about starting school in the fall

Hi everyone! I've been thinking a lot lately about school safety not just the big stuff you see on the news, but like the everyday things we don't talk about as much.

Things like: does my kid's school actually have a system in place if something goes wrong? Who has eyes on the campus during pickup and drop-off? Are there blind spots where kids aren't being watched by staff?

I'd love to hear from other parents what are your biggest worries when it comes to physical safety at school? Is it campus security, who's allowed on school grounds, communication from the school when something happens?

Not looking for solutions, just genuinely curious what other parents are thinking about these days.
