F-1 US visa Pakistan

I applied for an F-1 today somehow I got the website to work. However, my uni if due to start on 25th August and my visa interview date is 17th August. Now I know this is not enough time as my visa won't be here when I need to travel. Should I submit an emergency request and if so what are the chances they will change the date. This is considering that there are no dates available before the date I got. Any responses are appreciated.
