I'm looking for testers for a Lightroom Classic plugin that randomly displays pairs of photographs from your catalog.

May be most useful as a exploratory tool for sequencing books, zines, portfolios, exhibitions, etc. It can also just be a good way to shake loose photos you've viewed too many times and let you see them differently.

By default it pairs from your current Library view but you can configure it to pull from a specific Collection, or configure it to use two two Collections (eg. landscapes + portraits, environmental photos + details, or a collection for each of two people who are collaborating together on something).

Specific pairs can be saved back into your library as Collections within a Collection Set.

More info and install instructions: [https://lightroom-pairs.alibosworth.com/](https://lightroom-pairs.alibosworth.com/)

I started playing with this idea as a personal editing aid outside of LR, here's a much older public version [https://alibosworth.com/pairs](https://alibosworth.com/pairs) if you want to get the idea quickly (all 35mm scans on KM5400/Pakon F135+ BTW)

What I'd love to hear about: did the concept feel useful and would you come back to it? Where did install, startup, or workflow feel awkward or break?

I made a Lightroom plugin that displays random photo pairs from your catalog for sequencing and inspiration, looking for beta testers
