No heartbeat
Based on my LMP, I am supposed to be 7w2d pregnant. I did my ultrasound and transvaginal yesterday and my sac measured at (18mm) 7w0d while my CRL is only (2.6mm) 6w2d. I am short by a week (5 days) and no heartbeat due to the size of my embryo. My yolk sac measuring 5.7mm (which could be because of angle, and seems like it was not measured correctly - inner to inner edge - the calipers on my measurement was within the yolk sac lining (top) and borderline inside the lining (bottom). But this still worries me.
They said a possible chromosomal abnormality due to enlarged yolk sac (should be 5mm in size of my sac age). So missed miscarriage or could be delayed implantation… 50-50 as my doc said. So I am going back for another ultrasound & transvaginal.
I want to ask from other’s experience. Did anyone on the same boat as I am now like missed miscarriage - possible chromosomal or later implantation assessment and still turned out to be a successful pregnancy and got a heartbeat later on? How long between ultrasound? Also this chromosomal abnormalities, anyone said this but still hold on and have a successful healthy baby?
I’m really lost. I’ve cried inside yesterday, and literally cried today when I woke up this morning.
Thanks in advance for the help.
