Bittersweet moment at the clinic today.

I’ve been at my RE since March last year as I started my journey to become a single mother by choice using donor sperm. Today was my cd10 follicle scan for my final IUI before moving to IVF (for insurance purposes)

I’ve seen two doctors throughout my journey and they’re both so wonderful. I almost cried today because the doctor even said she hopes it’s lucky #6 but she asked to email them an update whenever I conceive via IVF with a different clinic because I’ve been with them for so long and they genuinely just want to see me pregnant.

It’s sad because she and I both know this lady IUI probably won’t take. Idk what’s wrong with me considering all my hormone bloodwork is excellent, every cycle has had amazing follicles, lining, and sperm. Just not pregnant.

I’m thinking about writing out a super heartfelt thank you card to their whole team. I even absolutely ADORE the man working at their front desk most of the time he literally brightens my whole day and I’m gonna miss them a lot lol.

I’m off to CNY for IVF after this though. Wish me luck that by some miracle IUI6 works.

(For funsies, follicle scan showed trilaminar lining at 6.6mm and I had two follicles, 16mm and 17mm. Triggering Thursday morning with IUI Friday afternoon).
