trekking poles

I’ll be trying hiking at Mt. Batulao for the first time later this month with my friends. I don’t want to invest a lot of money into it yet for gears and stuff since it may be a one time thing naman but I am concerned about my knees… may narerent ba mismo dun sa site na trekking poles?
