Soft skills
Soft skills are honestly one of the most important skills a person can develop. Schools haru mainly focus on academic performance, grades, and theoretical I feel there should also be a dedicated subject or course for soft skills development.
Students should be taught things like communication skills, public speaking, confidence building, emotional intelligence, teamwork, problem solving, respectful behavior, and how to properly interact with elders, younger people, teachers, and society in general.
These are life skills that help people not only in their careers but also in their personal relationships and everyday life.
I understand that some people are naturally introverted and there’s nothing wrong with that. But if children are introduced to these skills from an early age, they can gradually become more confident, expressive, socially aware, and emotionally mature as they grow up.
At the same time, schools alone cannot teach everything. Parents also play a huge role in shaping a child’s behavior and personality.
Ghar ma pani basic manners, respectful communication, empathy, discipline, and emotional understanding sikaunu parcha. A child learns the most from the environment they grow up in.
Even if you weren’t taught these things growing up, it’s never too late to work on them.
