Botched filling?

Had a filling done last night (24/7 on call dentist) that now after all the numbing has gone away this morning I brushed my teeth and went to floss and noticed I can't get floss between the tooth (4) that had the filling done and the tooth (3) behind it. Feeling around with my tongue and a dental pick it feels like the whole gap minus an extremely small area near the gum was completely filled in and it's so small I wouldn't be able to use floors threading to get in either. How would this be fixed? Will it removing the filling damage the other tooth? It will be a few weeks before the dentist can fix it, the practice is closed for the next few weeks as the assistant is out for a surgery (private practice 1 dentist and 1 assistant)
