Single parents dating advice... How to navigate limited time available?
I had an amazing first date with someone I met online. It was the first date in a long time that was focused on interests, rather than the dreaded interview style. We exchanged phone numbers at the end and both expressed the wish to see each other on a second date.
We're both single parents which on the one hand means we're facing similar challenges but at the same time it limits options for dates drastically. We basically have a weekend every two weeks available. Which leads to my question: how do you deal with the two weeks gap in between dates? So far we've been texting. Her texting style is sometimes slower than mine on some days but when she writes it's engaged and curious which is good in my opinion.
Because of the limited time, I couldn't even date multiple people at the same time, even if I wanted to. Therefore, I feel the need to clarify some important questions earlier than typically advised. Am I sabotaging myself if I ask about her approach to dating on the second date already or is it a reasonable question considering our circumstances?
