>!spoiler I’m currently re-listening to the series before diving into Book 8. I just reached the part where they rescue Samantha from Maria.

​During her tangent about the bachelorette party, Samantha mentions that Imani isn't invited because she's "trying to steal her man." My impression is that Samantha is actually talking about another god. Initially, I thought she meant Chris, but after her constant references to her "King". Considering Carl’s comments, I’m convinced it’s a deity.

​The Theory:

I think all those Player Killer skulls Imani collected for her mercy kills attracted Samantha’s ex. We still don't officially know what he is the god of, or if it has even been mentioned yet.

​What do you guys think? Is there a connection between the skulls and Samanthas "King"?!<
