hi there :D I'm here in search of conversation to pass the time and potentially make some online friends who are interested in chatting in the long-term about daily life, hobbies, passions, general nonsense, etc.

about me: I'm a massive nerd who really appreciates unironic enthusiasm for the little things in life. some of my interests are entomology, theme park history, crochet, watercolor, retro tech, birdwatching, and visiting museums. I've been making my own plushies by hand for more than a decade. I also collect marimos, elongated pressed pennies, sanrio merch, and miniature beanie babies.

I have 4k hours in my favorite video game, over a dozen tattoos, and I'm trained in tap dancing, karate, wilderness survival, and latte art. I might be the only person you meet who still regularly plays nintendogs. my fun fact is that I'm particularly skilled at crane games in arcades.

overall I'd describe myself as pretty straightforward and direct, easygoing, and I'm a loyal friend to the people close to me.
