The Neither New Nor Yume in Town!!

Hey!!

I joined this subreddit hoping to follow some adorable couples and ask the questions that pop into my head from time to time!

To start with... I don’t have a f/o (strange, i know)
I don’t know if this is common in the yume/self-shipping community, but so far I haven’t been able to figure out my feelings enough to identify as such! That said, I’ve been spending my free time browsing yumetwt as well as Instagram, TikTok, etc. for over a year now, and checking in here from time to time.

I’m autistic, and I’ve always had this special interest that’s hard to explain other than “I’m passionate about passionate people.” I love reading, watching videos, and listening to podcasts from people who have that spark in them. I also love art, love itself, and I’ve found all of that in yume/self-shipping.

I loooove seeing people madly in love with their f/os! I really enjoy visiting strawpages and offering drawings or comments whenever I can (even if they aren’t posted afterward, just the act of making someone happy fills me with immense joy i can't describe it!).

However, since I don’t have a f/o, I don’t feel like legitimate enough to join the community. I don’t have anyone to brag about (and yet I’d love to...)

I’d love to be able to start an account one day that features charts, memes and so on so couples can have fun but I see so many of these kind of account on Twitter that I feel like I have nothing new to add to the mix (not in a competition point of view, but in the sense that sometimes, i feel like everything’s already been done).

TDLR: Are there any other people here like me who don't (yet) have a f/o?
